There are over 400 Lincoln reenactors but only one Lincoln bodyguard reenactor. Bob O’Connor, who has been portraying Ward Hill Lamon across the country since 2007, will be appearing for one presentation only, Sunday May 29 at 2 p.m. at the Embassy Theater in Cumberland, MD. For persons who didn’t know President Lincoln had a bodyguard or that Lamon didn’t do a good job, you will find out how Lamon became his bodyguard, what a difficult job that actually was, and where Lamon was on April 14 when Mr. Lincoln was shot by John Wilkes Booth.
